Prof. Dr. Emine ALP MEŞE  

Prof. Dr. Emine ALP MEŞE was born on 13 November 1973 in Kayseri. She completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Kırşehir and Adana. She graduated from Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 1997 and earned the title of medical doctor.  Following the specialization training in medicine at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology Department, she became an Infectious Diseases Specialist.

At Erciyes University, she earned the title of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor. She completed her doctoral researches in the field of infection control in Netherland at Nijmegen University Infectious Diseases and Medical Microbiology Department between 2004 and 2010. She worked as the Chair of Infection Control Board at Erciyes University, Deputy Chief Physician, and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Deputy Rector of Erciyes University. She also carried out the duties of Secretariat of Hospital Infections Working Group at European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) and Sepsis Group Head at Turkish Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (EKMUD).  

Alp Meşe is a member of European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID), Hospital Infections and Control Society, Turkish Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (KLİMİK), Turkey Clinical Microbiology and Infectious DiseasesSpecialist Association (EKMUD), Viral Hepatitis Control Society, Surgical and Internal Sciences Intensive Care Association. She is married, with two children.
